My comments on Taking Learning Seriously
I agree with the author's view on the process of learning as both inside out and outside in. Learning is very much affected by the conceptions that we have. There is also crucial need to address the pathologies of learning, in particular fantasia. The conclusion as the author suggests in a need for focused individual research and being prepared for the unpredictable. The views are openly presented and subject to discussion, without any imposition on the reader. I personally feel an improved commitment towards teaching and learning after going through this.
